No. Resin bound means the aggregate is fully coated in resin before laying — it’s smooth underfoot and permeable. Resin bonded means loose aggregate is scattered onto a resin-coated surface — it can shed stones over time. We install resin bound only.

In most cases, no. Resin bound surfaces are permeable, which means they comply with permitted development rules for front driveways without planning permission. We’ll advise you if your specific situation is different.
