Artificial Lawn installed in St Helens, Merseyside.
‘ Is Artificial Grass suitable for pets? All you need to know!’ This customer had a urine- scorched patchy grass. The dog loved to dig holes in the garden and the customers were fed up with the mess so enough was enough. We transformed this garden into a luxurious, contemporary garden for the customer for them to enjoy all year round. The customer was concerned about his pets not liking the artificial grass. However all of our products are pet friendly and safe to play on. Going Artificial means that you don’t have to deal with anymore muddy paws and your pets wont be able to dig the lawn up! Pets take to fake grass very well. It is as kind to dogs as the real stuff. Its low maintenance and more capable of withstanding over exuberant dogs. Most importantly, will stay green and lush for years to come. The products used under the artificial grass are imperative. To ensure that everything drains through the grass, the materials must be porous. Sand is not a suitable product to use under the grass and when the dog does its business, over a period of time, it will begin to smell. A type 1 stone and granite dust is what should be used. It is still important to clean the grass from the dogs mess, and to water down the grass to clean it. We also have a product called - Peeclenz and Pooclenz which is used as a disinfectant. It breaks down the enzymes and cleans the surface. Contact us at the office for more information or email on info@activesurfaces.co.uk
